Abel has been with FujiFilm SonoSite for over 9 years and his current responsibilities are Technical Support, Repair Operations, Service Logistics, Service Engineering, Field Service and Global Service for Direct and Distributors service channels. Before FF SS Abel spent 13 years working for Philips Medical Systems in the area of Service for the Ultrasound Division.

Responsible for improving the profitability of the Service Operations by integrating 3rd party repair operations within the organization, establishing repair centers in Direct operations and a centralized Repair Center for Europe in Amsterdam.

Electronic Engineer by formation learned the physics principles of Ultrasound while working on the maintenance of Sonar Systems for Submarines.
